Weird Al Lookin’ Good As Young Dylan
He’s funny and lovable, ugly and dated. But who knew old Al could look this good playing a 1965 Bob Dylan?
Besides his perfect Subterranean quaff, what’s so special about this paticular pardody? It manages to string together some trippy little phrases worthy of the best 60′s Kool Aid–but pulls it off using only palindromes.
Pretty slick trick, Mr. Yankovic.
Post Script
I’m often castigated by many friends and colleagues for being behind the times–an old fuddy-duddy curmudgeon that refuses to participate in the biggest Tupperware party on the internet. Case in point:
“I know you’re opposed to social media, but I posted this on Facebook like 6 months ago. It’s hilarious.”
Touché Rob, touché. You are so right, for the most part. As a professional working in the online space, I am, for the most part, responsible enough to keep up with most trends, however douchy or annoying they may be. I have been known to–ahem–Twitter on rare occasion. c23 has been the design shop of record for Nature Publication Group’s behemoth social media cum wikipedia website, Scitable.com. And of course, maunet’s own little forum is a form of social media.
But as much as I love you all (truly, madly deeply), when it comes to one particular time-sucking, privacy-violating, suburbanized virtual destination, you all can just sitonmyfacebook. Dot com.
With love and squalor,
chairman mau

Doc, note, I dissent. A fast never prevents a fatness. I diet on cod.

Very cool. I wanted to write a palindromic comment but couldn’t focus enough to come up with anything. Dammit, I’m mad!
How long do you suppose it took him to write this?
